Raveena Tandon Opinion on Padmavati Controversy

Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone Starrer Padmavati have been in controversy for a long time. On one side where Bollywood Industry is coming together in support of Padmavati, Rajput Karni Sena on the other Side are still in the opposing for its release. According to Rajput Karni Sena, the Director of the film Sanjay Leela Bhansali has tampered the historical facts of Rani Padmavati.
This time Raveena Tandon has come in support of Padmavati. In an interview, she says “Padmavati Controversy is a Political Drama, Let the election end, it will be alright”. She also says that protest against the movie is wrong and she completely supports Padmavati.
Talking about the controversies in the Film Industry she shared a few controversies that were faced by Bollywood Industry. Remembering the Emergency period Raveena Tandon says Poet Majrooh Sultanpuri was imprisoned for one and half year for writing a poem. Raveena Tandon also says that Kishore Kumar was banned in the Industry for not campaigning for a Political Party.
